On the first day of the program, that also happens to be the 68th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between Nepal and China (August 1, 1955), the full-house attendance saw more than 80 participants from diverse backgrounds. The guest lecture session was conducted with Mr. Zhang Jinxiang, CEO of Nepal Horizon International and President of Nepal - China Chamber of Commerce, Qinghai.
The guest lecture was focused on Mr. Zhang’s experience of living in Nepal for 17 years. Mr. Zhang came to Nepal as a tourist and then eventually settled in the country. He expressed his experience working in Nepal with Nepali people, the challenges he faced and prospects there are for Nepali business to better export to China. Mr. Zhang also shared his experience of successfully exporting the first batch of haylage with total of 80 tons of silage to Tibet to feed animals during winter.
The session was followed with a lengthy Q&A discussion demonstrating much enthusiasm and curiosity from the participants.
The program will run for four days a week for two weeks (August 1 - 11). The registration for this course is closed due to limited capacity of the hall and a LOT of participants (to which we are immensly grateful for showing interest).
