With more than 100+ registered participants and attendance throughout the summer course, the program filled a vacuum in reducing the knowledge gap when it comes to China discourse in Nepal. The objective was to bring discussions about prospects, challenges, and opportunities of doing business in China for Nepali people as China still possesses an enormous market.
For a lot of participants, this was their first ever session on discussions about China, and have expressed a shift in perception on how they view their northern neighbors. There are prospects and opportunities, yet they come with a lot of challenges and issues at the business, societal, and even political levels. This initiative remains at the core of The Araniko Project to help reduce the knowledge gap in matters of Nepal - China relations.

We would like to thank The British College for implementing our vision, representatives from Nepal - China Chamber of Commerce, Qinghai, Nepal China cultural exchange center in Beijing, and others for accepting The Araniko Project’s invitation and sharing their experiences and providing a unique Chinese perspective on culture, society and doing business.
