To all of our subscribers and readers,
We are glad to announce the 2nd China Week Summer Academy program jointly organized by The Araniko Project and The British College, Kathmandu.
The core theme of this year’s China Week is Sustainability. China, as a political and economic powerhouse, has significant role in redefining long-term sustainable challenges. We will explore China’s role in sustainablity from three sector: education, media and society, and climate finance and ESG.
China’s interactions with the world, and specifically with Nepal, have accelerated in recent years, making it imperative to understand how host countries can engage with China to address sustainable challenges collaboratively.
Join the second edition of China Week to gain insights into the future trajectory of the world's second-largest economy, a major superpower, and a pioneer in sustainable initiatives.
The summer school experience features guest lecturers from various relevant fields who will share their expert insights. Each session is designed to be interactive, encouraging participants to share their opinions and ask questions throughout the lectures. As the only ongoing program of its kind in Nepal since 2023, this summer school provides a vital platform for researchers and enthusiasts alike to explore the multifaceted dynamics of Nepal-China relations.
